i just bought a 2002 chevy 1500 and my ac isnt cold at all. The compressor turns but there is no cycling and the compressor belt moves but it doesnt cycle. I already replaced the freon but still no cold air comes out. Everything else works-the switch, hot air, everything except cold air. Whats another possible problem that may have caused this?

If it turns but don't cycle, it is likely the clutch on the compressor. Have someone turn the AC on and off ( with the engine idling) while you watch the front of the unit. You will see it move and hear it click if it is working. The clutch is on the front of the compressor visible behind and to the sides of the pulley. Sometimes if you spray some WD40 or other penetrating fluid on and around the clutch, they will free up and be fine. Also, check for a blown fuse or broken wire.

have your it checked out at a ac service there may be freon in there but there could be a blockage in the system or a small leak also if the caps are off of the recharge connecters the freon will leak out

Bring a bucket of ice with you and just put em cube by cube in front of the A/C canal
