I have the 2002 Cavalier Z24 with the larger engine (2.4L) and the fuel pressure regulator located at the end of the injector bar is leaking gas. If anybody else has changed this part, I have a few questions regarding the info in the factory service manual:
1) They say in several places that Loctite 262 is used on fasteners. That is PERMANENT Loctite. Is that the correct agent?
2) Do you have to fight the fasteners off because of it?
3) Does the fuel pressure regulator come with the various O rings that are needed on it and the fuel lines, or do I have to buy them separately?
Thanks.
