Hi all,
I have an 02 Cavalier. The rear turn signal keeps going out. However, both bulbs are good (they are dual filament bulbs). I have had this problem before about a year ago. I replaced the socket that the bulb plugs into and the harness plugs into and it fixed the problem until recently. The turn signal went out last week and I went to AutoZone and bought a new socket for both sides. I plugged it into the harness and plugged the bulb in, and it worked just fine. Only about a week after, it went out again this evening.
I checked the bulbs again and both are good. I pulled the bulb and flipped it around and it started to work again just fine. I went out to dinner this evening and the darn thing isn't working again. Anyone else had this problem or have any suggestions? Turn signal relay is also new.
