My Sister bought my old 01 Suburban a while back now and has never had any problems with it! It justhit the 108,000 thousand mile point and she noticed recently ! that sometimes when she shift into park that the Fuel Guage would fluctuate from full to empty and then back to the correct reading!.... I figured that since she has passed the 100k mark that her fuel pump was on its way out !.. but every time a fuel pump has gone out on me there has never been any early symptoms ! It just goes out !... i was wondering if this could be a warning sign for the fuel pump or is it something diffrent Electrical wise!.. i told her i would fix it for her but i wanted to make sure what it was first before i order anything!.. Any advice is highly Appreciated ! Thanks, Patrick

unless you do a fuel pressue test and verify low pressure readings it has nothing to do with the fuel pump. it sounds like some sort of grounding issue but you would need the chasis wiring diagram to dig into it.
