You want to replace more than you remove. First, you may want to remove your entire dash and put some sheet metal and have just a panel for gauges. Next see if you can get lighter rims. After that you may consider removing/changing seats for lightweight ones. Also get rid of all the little decorations, it may not seem like much but in the hend you'll have lost quite a bit of weight.

Just me but you could always add more power so you dont have to remove a bunch of stuff.Your car is already fairly light.

you can add an exhaust sytem as well as tune the computer for extra hp and fairly cheap. and as far as remove weight. well remove the chrome wheels and put aluminum or alloy rims... and the car itself is made of fiberglass fairly light... remove pass. seat. remove the dash a d carpet and speakers... you wont remove that much weight... i mean if you trying to gain a second or two on your 1/4 mile than put on a supercharger and slicks!!!! done!

Carbon fiber quarter panels and hood. I am sure you don't want to go overboard, and remove the carpet and stereo.
