2000 Chevy suburban 1500. I have a major short somewhere which empties my battery in 8 hours. It has my dash on the fritz, leaving me usually with out a Speedo, tach, fuel gage, oil gage, or water gage. I thought the problem was in the Speedo head, I replaced it and still same problem. I am at a loss of were to look, please help with some suggestions. Last night I ran out of gas in a snow storm with my son, and then the battery went dead, trying to get it restarted. Not a happy camper! Either I fix the truck, or it's got to go down the road, the problem is two fold. One I love my suburban, and two I don't have the funds currently to buy another one. I would appreciate any help or suggestions that you might have for me.
