I just bought a SUPER clean Suburban 2500 4x4 with 200k miles from the original owner who kept ALL records. I believe I have the 4L80E Tranny and was wondering if you all could recommend what kinda of Transmission fluid to use? I've been told
Dextron V. Also has anyone heard of a weird short or something, as I have the ABS and Parking Brake light come one like every other time I start the car, and they stay on until I shut off the truck. Looking back on records I think this first appeared YEARS ago when the truck had 50 k miles. Obviously the brake is off and there is no issue with the truck at all. The records state the tech did all kinds of test on the systems and came up with nothing since they could no replicate the LIGHT/Pilot coming on.
Any thoughts?
