...and transfer case motor...? 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 4.8L Z71 4WD. I was having trouble with the 4WD on my truck. All lights on my 4-button selector switch were out, and the Sevice 4WD light was on. The 20 amp ATC (automatic transfer case) fuse was blowing, and it worked with a 30 amp for a week or so as I was waiting for some cash. It went out completely, and wouldn't work with the 30 amp fuse. That night I replaced the Transfer Case motor as it seemed to be the problem. I disconnected the negative battery terminal to reset the computer after installation. The service 4WD light was still on and my 4WD still wont engage. My buddy has the same 4-button 4WD selector switch, so we swapped them out, and still no luck. All the fuses seem to be fine (There is a 15 amp 4WD fuse and the 20 amp ATC fuse I mentioned earlier). Any ideas on where to look next?.... Thanks.

theres a resion for a 20 amp duse..like the wires can't handle 30A...if you can't check yourself get a mechanic to check wireing,,,
i had same deal on my 99 s 10 4x4,,,new actuator and relay worked for me

Get Out Of Your Car And Never Drive It Again If You Go In It It Could Explode Because Gangs Rigged It From What It Sounds Like.
