The car had problems where you could turn the car off but not remove the key unless you tapped (hit) the gear shift. Today, someone else used the car, and now you can insert and remove the key but cannot turn the key at all. The steering wheel is able to move in both directions completly, but it is difficult to turn. Again, its a 2000 Chevy Malibu, and the ignition switch was just replaced.
