2000 chevy impala security issues?

I have been having problems with the security system locking the car down to where it wont start. I do know about waiting 10 Min's and trying again. But at the same time the security system started messing up, i lost my interior overhead lights and now my trunk wont open with my key. We have checked all the fuses, but that did not help. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

1 make sure battery is 100% and connections clean,,tight
2 make sure fob battery is good
