What causes the right side of my sisters car to have a thick groove in the rotor you hear it when driving?.I took it to goodyear for her and they said it was a hub bearing. They charged 90.00 to tell me that.It looks like coming from the pad but please advise.thanks good day.

Is the grove around the axis, or across the face? If around the axis could be the result of a small stone getting stuck between the rotor and pad.

At any rate, she (you) need new rotors.

I had a car where the lights didn't light, the brakes didn't brake, and the pistons didn't work too well either
