1998 chevy silverado is hard to start?

I have a 98 silverado with a 5.7L V8. It will start and run but it's very difficult to start. I have to press on the gas a little to get it to go. I've replaced the starter and there is no check engine light.
The motor turns over fast enough but it acts like I don't have enough fuel pressure but I checked the pressure and ohm'ed out the injectors. They both check out fine.
