I have a 1998 Chevy Blazer LS 4x4 4dr and it is giving issues with 4x4.
It will not go into 2wd it will go into 4hi and 4 lo only
I found that the vacuum lines to the HVAC system were all dry rotted and split so I temporarily fixed that still a no go.
I did the diagnostic test where you ground a wire and stick it in #13 slot and it gives the codes it gave code 1, I reset it and code 1 did not come back which is supposedly to do with the memory.
It has a new vacuum switch as well, the actuator is fine so i'm confused. I believe the encoder motor is fine.
EDIT: Just installed a used TCCM from another Chevy Blazer with a blown motor problem still exist and its giving 1 flash indicating code 1.
