1998 cavalier all dash lights on!!

Hi. I have a 1998 cavalier that when u start no lights will be on except the check engine. Once u depress the brake all the lights come on the dash. As u drive the low coolant,oil lights flash on and off once that begins then the radio turns on and off with just those lights. Also the Speedo dosent works and only my high beams work. Any advise would be awesome.

have you had the check engine light scanned, autozone does it for free?
have you checked all your battery connections both at the battery, the starter and the ground?
if you go to autozone to have the light checked have them check your charging system also.
