1997 chevy malibu, 2.4l, automatic, with intense vibrations in idle. shakes whole car. stepping on gas calms it down a little. A/C makes it worse, doesn't go away in nuetral, started with small vibrations a few years back and has gotten incredible worse. only thing that gets it to go away is putting the car in park with it pointed downhill (once the car shifts foward). Engine or transmission mounts? Torque converter? Idle air control? Vacumn leak? Could a faulty oil/air seperator cause this ?(found oil in hose leading to intake) Mileage also seems a little low.
