...stripped threads - how can I fix? I have already replaced the pump - probably wasn't the issue to begin with. The high pressure line popped apart on the install. Bought a new one - went to put it on - finger tightened and then three turns with a wrench. Wouldn't turn any more but wasn't all the way in. Tried to start her up - fluid spraying everywhere - uninstalled the line and found the threads on the new line already stripped. should I try a new hose? Have I already stripped the housing? Can't afford a shop so gotta take care of this myself - any ideas?

Take the pump to a shop and have them 'chase out' the threads. Hopefully that will work. If you have stripped the thread I certainly would not try to re-thread the hose into there until someone has looked at it. You could ruin the housing.
