1997 Chevy Cavalier- Good or Bad?

Priced at $1600. I need a car pretty soon since the one I had died. If purchased, it would be driven daily and kept outside in sub-zero temps.
2 door, supposed to be a good runner. That's really all I know so far as I haven't talked to the seller yet (it's a little late to call right now at 11:30 pm).
