1996 Suburban is almost empty of coolant

I'm down to 1 lb. (Is that how it's measured - in lbs?)

I was told I could add it myself. Can someone please tell me how? Is it really easy for someone who knows absolutely nothing about engines to do it?

I'm assuming you added a 50/50 mix. Coolant is measured in liquid quantities BTW. oz, qt, gal
