we try to start it up in the morning and you can hear it turning over, over and over. but then my dad taps the gas padal a little bit and then it might start after that. we tryed jumping it to a car battery,(just the battery) and the turning got even slower, then would just click like if it was going to start but does not turn over. after that we hooked the jumper cables to our 1979 gmc jimmy and we started the jimmy and hooked the jumper cables to the silverado, then we let it charge like for a little then when he went to start the chevy silverado up it started up super kwik. any ideas what that could be? (we know its not the battery because its strong (we checked) oh by the way we smelled some fuel or some kind of smell i know what fuel smells like to.
