I purchased a car the other day just to put miles on from a friend so I didn't have to use my Saab. Its a 96 cavalier with 160k miles on it. Brakes are new, tires are good- car is maintained. Question is, the AC doesn't work, it blows hot air. I popped the hood and it seems like the belt is missing. So my questions are:
Is it okay- or damaging to run the car this way.
And if I did choose to get the AC working, how much do u think that would cost?
I drive ALOT for work and don't want to stuck with a car that I can't defrost the windows with.
