On my 1994 corvette I have a center digital read-out that shows the coolent temp, oil temp, avg MPG, fuel level, and speed. on the sides of the digital read-out I have a tach to the left, and oil temp, coolent temp, amp, oil pressure, and transmission temp gauges on the right.
Most of the time I leave it on avg MPG or range. But today I switched it to cooent tempture, and I noticed the temp gauge, and the digital readout did not match. My digital read-out for the coolent temp was between 198-206 degrees. And my normal gauge read between 210-220.
Anyone know whay they don't match, and witch one is the best to go by for correct temp?
thanks
