So I was driving to school this morning and I make it about half way there. I stop at a stop sigh then go on, all of a sudden I hear the engine racing because the transmission was not going into 3rd gear. The transmission was rebuilt 30,000 miles ago too. Is it possible that a line may be frozen because it was 9 degrees this morning. I checked the fluid and it was not dirty and did not smell bad. I have heard so many things today on what it could be but I don't know if I want to risk draining the transmission to find metal chips. Any suggestions would definetly help. Thanks
