My car pings when I accelerate and has a big miss in it. When the car is cold, the problem does not surface until the car warms up. I've already tested the spark plugs and wires and they are fine. I am thinking it has something to do with the distributor, maybe the coil or pickup coil within the distributor. Anyone have other ideas or has anyone had a similar experience and solved the problem?
