The frame of the targa top for my 1985 Corvette is cracked. The frame appears to be aluminum. Is there any effective way I can repair the crack, or will I have to pay through the nose for another targa top? I checked around, and they seem to be going for about $1100. I wouldn't mind paying the $1100, except that I am currently unemployed.
