there is a common problem that I have read about with something like a transmission coltroller in the engine. I believe it runs off of a vacuum, and it tells the tranny when to shift. well mine is going bad, (the common problem), and I was wondering if there was some way to remove this controller, and just shift the car through the stick. the stick goes ParkReverseNeutral321. there is no drive, so could the linkage be changed (or something) to have the tranny shift into first second and third using the sticks 321? I hope this made sence, I dont know exactly how to word what I'm thinking
