1974 Nova re-wire

Looking for some help,

Im trying to re-wire my 74 Nova from stock wiring to a more modern and sustainable electrical system

Is it better to go with a wiring kit or buy the wiring, switches, and relays out right?

Try seeing what this company offers not sure what you want by "modern and sustainable".
I have a 69 Chevrolet and a 71 Pontiac and have come nowhere near having to rewire anything.

Stock was the wrong word to use. I have a Nova that had the small black 350 swapped for a 69 Camero 305 and the wiring used was not stock. Battery was moved to the trunk, and the AC/Heat was taken out. At this point the re-wire is more to familiarize myself with the current state of mods performed, and to add onto with modern electronics and reinstall the AC.

So is the original fuse box still under the dash drivers side?
Are you moving the battery back to the engine compartment?
The heater core is gone?
Are the dash controls for HVAC still there?
