I plan on getting a 72' chevy in a few months and would like to know what work i should do on it as far as engine, trans, and anything else that would need to be done just to have it running nicely and looking good inside and out. HINT i kinda have my heart set on a big block or small block if you have any info on them
THANKS

The Impala has more of a muscle car following. But if you go there be ready for the gas mileage. You will think your tank has a hole in it.

The Impala Caprice and Biscayne are the same cars. Go for a coupe or convertible as they are the most desireable body styles. Most of these cars will have a 350 under the hood which is fine, but some of these cars had a 454 which is rare and desireable. As far as I know all these cars had automatic transmissions, but have heard rumors of some having a standard or column shift transmission.
