OK bought this car a month ago. Trying to find out what I have, ran the vin number and it says 04 which is ss , next set is 37 which is sport coupe. So I've been reading on line and find the ss was discontinued mid stroke of 64 then brought back in 65 , but in 64 they sold the sport coupe as a ss . so is my car a ss or sport coupe. Any help would be nice. You can email me if your more comfortable.

It's not an SS because of the 37 it would have to be 47 read this link

Well then coupe it is. I could not build this car for what I played for it. Think I'll have some fun with it next summer she's a real barn burner. 355 stroker, mustang ll front end, 9"ford Detroit locker . paint has some small issues but very show able as is. Had a lot of fun driving it home.
