09 Traverse Heating/Cooling Mixup

Hi! We have had our traverse for about 18 months. We are at 80K so no warranty. This past Summer, our air conditioning started blowing heat when it was about 95 outside. We tapped it a few times and pulled the car over, restarted and it worked again. Now it's winter and this morning the heater is blowing cold air. This has been an intermittent problem. Wiring maybe? I am hoping to fix this myself. Any suggestions?

sounds like the blend door is sticking, the actuator may need to be replaced
