09 Malibu - Engine Light

Hello
my engine light is on and it says its the cam shaft position sensor. Ive replaced it once already in the past 3 months. Is there something that I'm missing? Could the replacement have already gone bad or is something else happening?

could also be the wire harness is bad, what is the exact code you have and which engine?

4-cyl, 2.4L, MFI, DOHC, Ecotec

I'll have to get the code again.

did you use a ac delco part?

Sure was.
ACDelco 213-1690 GM Original Equipment Engine Camshaft Position Sensor
Replaced it myself. I'm not that great at repairs, but YouTube can be a wonderful tool for car repairs.

the code was probably P0010 and others experience the intermittent problem
