i am having problem hooking up the headunit in my 06 impala.
i took out the stock radio no problem and brought a new aftermarket headunit and i have installed them before no problem, its simple just the red wire to red wire yellow wire to yellow wire and the black to a ground (screw), the rest of the wires are just to the speakers. i am not getting any power to the headunit at all. i tried to power it on and got nothing at all i have tried 2 different headunit now and still i get no power at all. i checked the fuse for the radio and it was good still no power i also touched the yellow 12v wire to the metal around the headunit and the fuse popped so i knew i was getting power from the wires but still no power for the headunit to power on.
i got the harness and also needed a antenna adapter also got that.
can anyone help me give me some tips or maybe you have had this problem and can help me figure it out.
