05 suburban back glass help

I just recently purchased a 05 suburban. Previous owner stated that he couldn’t get the clips on for the window to stay attached so he taped it down. I thought all I would need were the “c” clips, is there anywhere I can purchase the pins because they are still in the latch but they look like they should be replaced or should I get a whole new glass? I just really want to get this straight. Keeps reading on dash that rear gate is opened and I can’t even use my rear wiper or defrost. Please help. I’m open to all suggestions

Without seeing it can't tell what you need. Have you checked at a dealer if they can get the pins?
