Switched the rear end in my 2004 Chevy Suburan. The differential was broken in old rear. After switching it out, I had to replace calipers because the ones on the replacement rear end were no good. Now I have no back brakes. I have cleaned lines and have brake fluid flow to both wheels. I have cleaned nipples. I have bled the brakes several times. I'm at a lose. Can anyone give any suggestions?

Did you loose fluid in the master?
Do you have ABS brakes?

I probably did lose fluid in the master from bleeding them so much. I made sure to add fluid and check the levels after each brake. No ABS, it has hydraulic system.

Then you could have air in the master. ABS systems are hydraulic. Did you follow the lines from the master to see if they go directly to the wheels and there is no ABS unit?

When I called chevy about specific specs they said it didn't have ABS. But said it just had hydraulic.

They checked using your VIN number?
Have you checked yourself by tracing the brake lines in the engine compartment?
