02 Chevy Malibu has a flutter?

When I am driving and stopped at a traffic light its seems the car feels like it is going to stall. Feels like a flutter. I inch the car forward then it stops. Thanks for your help.

i think its the toque converter but check the first 2 answers first they are cheaper

Sounds like either you have an emissions sensor (I'm thinking MAP sensor) quitting, or you have a blocked fuel or air filter.

Check the vacuum hose to the fuel pressure regulater for cracked and leaking and repair if necessary.
