ignition lock

I have a 2001 Impala and I need to know how I can take out my ignition lock cylinder because my key won't turn to allow me to push the button to take it out. I have tried EVERYTHING. I tried moving the steering wheel back and forth really hard, turning the steering wheel while jiggling the key...
