timeing chaine

hello guys,, i need some advice my 2006hhr with 97000. on it , is it worth it to have it reparied or just sell it. i bought it new the wife wants me to repair it.. i just dont think its worth it.. need help.. that women is going to drive me out of my mind.

who told you it needed a timing chain and why?
if it really needs a chain and the car is clean otherwise depending on the price you were quoted for the repair it may be worth repairing.
