Default Low Oil Pressure Stop Engine

Hello, I'm new to this forum, and seeking some advice. I would have to belive people have discussed this issue on here before, so hopefully some seasoned professionals can help me out.
I have an 07 Impala 3.5 liter with 203k miles. I'm getting the warning that reads "Low Oil Pressure Stop Engine". I have already replaced the oil pressure sensor. That seemed to have fixed the problem for about a month. But then the warning came back on.
I'm afraid that there could be several possible solutions. But, I have no idea where to start.
I would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Assuming you have checked the oil level and it is fine you may actually have low oil pressure do to the engine being worn out. If you are still using the factory recommended oil viscosity of 5W30 switch to a heavier oil such as 10W40 and put in a can of STP oil treatment. This may buy you some more time before having to go through an expensive repair or replacing the car.
