Default '69 SS w/1979 SB

Have a friend with several Tri-Fives, a '63 Chevy II, and this '69 Chevelle. Need to figure out the stamping code on the pass side deck. Have several SBC's with codes ending in D, GF, CGC, CPZ, TJS, TLZ, & UHX. According to my Chevrolet Small-Block V-8 ID Guide, these indicate what the engine was originally installed in at the factory, and verifies cubic inch displacement. However, the Chevelle has a stamping number of V0999800. There is no listing for anything ending in numerals, so I'm wondering what does this stamping number indicate? On this particular engine, the stamped number is exceptionally clear, so no misinterpretations. Any ideas out there?

Was thinking it was a replacement block after posting this. Cast #14016379 (78-85 350), date code H239 (1979), it's how I knew it was a '79 block.
