Default 67 chevelle ss 396 a/c brackets

my a/c compressor doesn't allow the belt to run true. either its too far froward or back. any have pictures of standard setup or possibly have brakets for sale. thanks

if you google "image 1967 Chevelle SS engine" you will get lots of pictures of AC equipped engines. You could also try looking in a copy of the 1967 Chevrolet Chassis Service manual. Do you have the correct short style water pump?

yep, correct pump is on it, low mileage car (55k) which i've owned 7-8 years. why the belt doesn't run true is the mystery.i have the service manuals but didn't look in there-great idea. last spring the compressor clutch died and the replacement is identical but the belt angle is too far back or too far forward. we thought the brackets might be wrong?
