Default What else can go wrong with this car???

I have had my cobalt for 2 years now. Its a 2005 and was my daughter's car before i bought it from her. We have been the only owners of this car. It ran perfectly while she drove it and had 96,000 miles on it when I got it.

The first thing that went wrong was, the motor needed replaced due to an oil issue. The dealership fixed what was needed which cost $3,400. It has burned a quart of oil every 2 weeks or less ever since.
Second thing to happen, one of the rear brakes seized up and shattered while driving down the road. I had all the brakes replaced after that.
Third thing to happen. a part in the transmission broke while driving down the highway causing it to not be able to shift out of first gear.
fourth thing to happen, a loud popping in the steering wheel. it needs 'more grease' in the tube down the steering wheel shaft thingy but only the cobalt factory can re-grease it.
Fifth thing to happen, the u joints need replace ...but that no biggy

Now, last night I hit a raccoon on the highway. I went over the top of it between my wheels. I heard a small thud. That was it. Felt and heard nothing else. Until 2 miles down the road when my engine came on and I started to hear a load rumble buzz coming from the engine. I brought up my temp gage and it said 269' degrees. I immediately shut the car off and discovered the coon had somehow rolled up in between my grill and my radiator when I hit it. The radiator is smashed inward into the fan which prevented it from turning. I had no radiator fluid left and the fan motor was still trying to run and was catching on fire. I ripped open the fuse box and started pulling every fuse I could and it finally stopped and the fire went out.

Now here my question. how could that coon get flipped up inside my engine like that. i mean wth?? and can it be fixed or is it probably totaled now

anything can be fixed. You need to get an estimate on the repair costs and depending upon what type of insurance coverage you have contact your insurance company.
Concerning number 4 on your list it sounds like the steering intermediate shaft which can be replaced.
