Default 61 Impala

Im new to this forum. I'm looking for advise from people that have done LS swaps in 1961 Impalas so I can get all my ducks in a row before i dive in. I had an opportunity to buy a complete drop out LS2 with trans out of a GTO but heard the 4L65 was bigger than the 4L60 and would of had to modify the trans tunnel. I've done some research and know about having to upgrade the fuel pump, flash the computer, convert the wire harness to a four wire hook up, Oil pan, motor and trans mounts, radiator. If you've done a LS swap what LS did you use and why?. Is there anything you came across that i might want to be aware of?
