Hello everyone,

I have a 1964 Chevelle SS, not a number matching machine. I have done a lot of work , trying to stay to the original body look and stance. The restoration is almost complete.

It's been sitting in a shop waiting to have a problem fixed. After replacing the vent windows, my windows will not close fully. About 1/4 to 1/2 inch gap remains. Could the placement of the vent windows have caused this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

who replaced the vent windows, you or a shop. If a shop take it back to them. I believe to replace the vent windows you have to remove the main glass and the stops may need adjusting.
