Default hooking up battery cables backwards

Good evening, My first post , I have a Cavalier '98 2.2L, lend my battery to a friend and in a hurry I connected the cables on the battery backwards. Now it does not start, I checked all the fuses and they're fine. What was damaged? the ignition module or the ecm. someone has been the same?
Thanks in advance.

check for blown fusible links, you may have damaged many components, alternator, ignition control module, ecm. The link below has some tests to check some of these components.
