Talking Tough To Find Part for 2010 HHR

Thanks for the opportunity to be a part of this forum. This is my 1st post.

Does anyone have an idea or information for finding parts that are not readily listed? I need a part (or maybe two) for the 4T45-E transmission, specifically
the "output shaft" (also known as an output "stub" shaft) and the associated sleeve. (Note: - -not the CV axles but the short shafts in the body of the trans axle unit that connect to the CV axles).

In my case, I have a drive line vibration that shows up in the steering wheel, especially at about 65 mph. After considerable study, research & effort, (including ruling out tires, brakes & wheel bearings, replacing control arms, stabilizer bar bushings and CV axles, I believe it is probably caused by a worn "stub shaft"/ trans axle output shaft on the passenger side (or maybe even both sides). There is too much "free play" movement where the CV axle connects to the trans-axle output, especially on the passenger side.

Thanks,
Franklin (Frankbo)

When you say "not readily listed", have you checked with a local GM dealer?
If so, did they tell you the part is discontinued? Did they give you the part number?

I checked with GM parts sites and could not find it; however, - - -

Good News:
I found the part numbers at Rock Auto.com just a few minutes ago.
The part numbers are as follows:
Output Shaft:
GM #24200734 (This is the aforementioned output "stub" shaft)
Output Seal, Sleeve, C Clips (Kit):
National Part # 5693
GM Part # 24203910

Apparently, the left and right automatic transmission/transaxle outputs are identical. No specification of "left" or"right" etc. was posted. Also, the associated left & right CV axles are identical.

Thanks,
Frankbo (Franklin))
