I personally recommend Chilton. They aren't as good as the books from Chevy themselves, but are adequate. You can read it quite easily, don't have to be an auto aficionado to take it all in....

A helpful tool to test your battery is a plug-in cigarette lighter amp reader. They're like a buck from china on eBay. Great cheap test.

Regarding a possible battery drain, does your camaro have...

And had a question. What are the different "packages" so to speak that these come with? This certain vette had chrome wheels but nothing special. Is it just the Z upgrade and the stock vette?

Suburban is base model, Yukon is mid, and the Escalade ESV is top of the line. The Yukon and Suburban are mostly identical. Only difference is the Yukon has more "blings" IIRC, the Yukon has a 6.0 V8...

Double check the wiring harness to the sensor, look for lacerations. Maybe the cluster stepper motors in the cluster are calling it quits?

You have two options. Spend more on an older vehicle with lower mileage, or buy a new(er) vehicle with higher mileage. I tend to go with option number 2.

It is possible that you replaced the old battery with a "new" defective one. Get another new battery and try it, and also try what zora mentioned.

Make sure you have the battery installed correctly. The larger portion of the battery should be on top.
