P0303 misfire

Hi, I have a 2009 Chevy traverse lt and am getting a P0303 code which I was seeing was an error for misfire. I changed the plug and coil pack in that cylinder cleared the code and a day later the check engine light came on with same code. I brought it to the dealer and they stated it was a head gasket failing but did not do a compression test or a block test to prove that. I checked the oil and it did not have any evidence of coolant and am not seeing anything excessive coming out of the tailpipe or loss of power. In the past I did have what the dealer called a decarbionation which fixed the issue with a check engine light.Any help to point me in a direction to solve this with would be appreciated

do a compression test and buy a coolant hydrocarbon test kit and read the link for other possibilities
