Default my 06 impala engine is stalling..

i have a 2006 impala SS 5.3L

my problem is im having trouble with it stalling and sometimes shuddering when i go to take off from a stop..

first thing i noticed a leak when i changed my oil one day
and come to find out my rear main gasket was leaking. so they replaced it
ever since then my car has been stalling out (loses power steering cant turn, but lights on dash and everything seem to work just engine dies) and the other problem is the shuddering..when i take off from a stop light stop sign ect...

i have cleaned my maf throttle body and cleaned my fuel injectors. still all problems after "chevy dealer" told me those were the causes...the problem still happened.. so i took it to a different chevy dealer they said crankshaft position sensor.. so the last thing i have had done was my crankshaft position sensor replaced along with the pigtail with it. AND it is still doing it..

has anyone had same problem or know of anything else that could possible be causing my shuddering or stalling problems?

any ideas or solutions would be appreciated. im at a lost to were to go.. no more ideas.

thanks everyone.

Is your check engine light on, if so you can have it scanned for free at autozone and then post the code here.

Have you ever changed your fuel filter? Have you checked the condition of your air filter? Has anybody checked fuel pressure?

If you still have no resolution to your problem contact GM customer service. The number is in the back of the owners manual. If you need a copy let me know.

You sure it was your rear main seal leaking and not your torque converter/front pump seal? This sounds more like a transmission torque converter problem to me. If the tc isn't releasing from lock up, this can happen. Maybe if you can find the torque converter lock up switch connector, try unplugging it and see if that helps. If so, you have your answer. The switches don't cost all that much, but the labor to replace them is high.
