what is behind the alternator that something plugs into on a 1994 chevrolet camaro
5sp. 2dr? there is a wire harness on top and when you pull it it will either race the motor or idle it. there is something that pluga into the motor. when you pull the wires it gos hayire.. i dont know if this will solve our problem but we do know something is missing???? can anyone help.

It's a broken contact of part # 4787633842. Replace the contacts ASAP. That will solve a lot of other problems.
