Default what year is my chevy malibu?
i found the vin number but dont know how to decode it. the part of it i can see is *1w27u8k40??

10th vin is year number 6 = 2006 like that, or w = 98 x=99 1=2001 2=2002

6th digit indicates the year model , your is a 1968

look at the body style and compare it to the different body styles of that era. or take it to a chevy dealer
