Default what would u need to install an after-market radio in a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer?

well i have the harness but im still nt getting any power! and i need to know whats the problem!

you have to install a different harness that is compatible with the aftermarket one always stick with Original

The problem is that the vehicle is made by GM. You Need to run the red wire to a fuse that gets power while the key is in the acc and engine on positions. There is no true power wire outside of the 12v constant (yellow wire) for the 12v switched power wire (red wire) in anything GM makes now days. A fuse tap from Radio Shack, and some extra 12 gauge speaker wire will do the trick. I had to do this when I had a Cavalier.
